Privacy Policy
This page describes how we handle personal information when you visit this site or contact us about a project.
Who we are
Gray Cat Studio (“we”, “us”) is a web development studio operating from Canada. This site is graycat.dev. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact form.
What we collect
If you send a message through the contact form, we receive:
- your name
- your email address
- the message you write
We do not ask for payment details, account passwords, or other sensitive identifiers on this site.
How we use it
We use contact-form submissions only to reply to your inquiry and, if you hire us, to continue that conversation. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising lists.
Who processes it
A few services help us run the site:
- Formspark receives the contact form so we can read your message.
- Vercel hosts the site and may collect standard server logs and Speed Insights performance data.
- Google Analytics may run when it is configured, to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, device type, approximate location).
Cookies and analytics
The site itself does not set marketing cookies. Theme preference is applied in the browser for the current visit and is not stored as a tracking cookie. If Google Analytics is enabled, Google may set its own cookies. You can block those in your browser or with a tracker blocker.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept long enough to respond and, if we work together, for the life of the project plus ordinary business records. We delete inquiry messages that do not become a project when they are no longer useful, typically within two years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Use the contact form to make that request. If you are in Canada and are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date below.
